New Moon, the second film in the Twilight Series, generated a whopping $72.7 million in ticket sales on Friday, easily ensuring that it will be the No. 1 movie in America. What’s more, the film broke the single-day sales record of $67.2 million, previously held by The Dark Knight.
I’m not into Twilight, and I don’t want to be into Twilight. I can’t stand Robert Pattinson because everywhere I turn on the ‘net, I see his damn face. Obviously I’m in the minority here, but please, Twilight stuff, just go away.
