“DC Sniper” John Allen Muhammad was executed last night for his part in the 2002 terrorist-like attacks in and around the Washington, D. C. area that left 10 dead and 3 injured. He was executed by lethal injection and pronounced dead at 9:11pm local time in Virginia.
Muhammad didn’t have any last words, but his lawyer spewed some bull about him not being afraid of death and about dying with dignity. Yeah, whatever. There was no dignity in that piece of shit at all.
I’m surprised at how quickly Virginia moved with the death penalty. Seven years seems pretty short. Did Muhammad exercise all his appeals or did he just not bother?
At any rate, good riddance.
