So details continue to emerge about the doings of Steve McNair’s 20-year-old girlfriend Sahel Kazemi. According to Nashville authorities, Kazemi bought a semiautomatic handgun on Thursday night, just two days before the shooting. Though police haven’t come right out and said so, this is clearly looking more and more like a murder-suicide. Usually these types of crimes are committed by males, but it wouldn’t be the first time a woman did such a thing.
Not much is known about McNair’s relationship with Kazemi, aside from the fact that they were definitely dating. They met at Dave & Buster’s in Nashville, where she was a waitress and where he often went to eat with his family (ew, creepy). TMZ.com posted some pictures of the couple parasailing while on vacation, and they looked pretty happy together.
What could have set Kazemi off like this? Probably McNair told her that he wasn’t going to divorce his wife after all. I mean, why else would she go crazy like that?
Sure, Kazemi was hot and looked like she could be the featured model in a nuphedra review or commercial, but obviously she had issues. She was just 20, and was in a relationship with a 36-year-old man. Remember how you were when you were 20? Your judgment probably wasn’t that great back then, right?
