I have decided that I’m not voting in this year’s presidential election. I just don’t like either ticket at all, and I REFUSE to give in to the “lesser of two evils” mentality and vote for a candidate that I don’t believe in.
I think the two-party system is highly flawed, and the election process needs to be reviewed and/or reformed in the near future. There are legitimate reasons that people are apathetic and cynical about voting in this country that have nothing to do with laziness or ignorance. Until these issues are addressed, I don’t foresee voter participation increasing much.

I can understand some of the frustration, but not voting doesn’t help anything. Check out my blog that I think takes a fairly balanced approach to presenting the issues and let me know if that doesn’t sway you one way or another.
