Barack Obama has officially named Sen. Joe Biden of Delaware as his running mate, bringing to an end weeks of speculation as to whom Obama would select as the VP candidate.
It doesn’t seem like that many people care, though, as the Most Emailed Yahoo! News story remains the one about the North Carolina man who snagged a record 21-pound catfish with a Barbie fishing pole.
The Biden announcement was a distant second at the time of this posting.
Figures. Political apathy still runs rampant around here — and I’m just as guilty as anyone else!
