My mom is something of a neat freak. Her home is always spotless, with everything put away just so — except in her closets! I don’t know what the deal is, but Mom never has enough closet space, which means that her closets are normally overflowing with clothes, shoes, and old Briggs and Riley suitcases.
Well, she finally got fed up with the mess, and ended up calling in an interior designer to give her closets a complete overhaul. After an initial consultation, Mom settled on the California Closet look, which essentially uses a bunch of strategically placed shelves, racks, and drawers to maximize available space.
I usually don’t pay much attention to these things, but I was very impressed with how Mom’s closets turned out. In fact, I am now seriously thinking about doing the same at my house!
