We originally planned to go out to dinner with friends tonight, but Jerry was just too beat after a long week of work, so we begged off. We then decided to make it a DVD night since we have a bunch of Blockbuster coupons from a promotion they recently did.
It was my turn to pick out the movies. I chose The Heartbreak Kid, The Jane Austen Book Club, and The Mist. I hope at least one of them is good! We’re going to watch The Mist first, as soon as Jerry is done playing Mario Kart DS with our son. Stephen King movies are kind of hit or miss as far as film adaptations go, so honestly my expectations aren’t all that high. If it’s at least watchable, I’ll be satisfied!
