I’ve been testing out a bunch of different skincare products recently, including toners and exfoliants. Usually, I just cleanse with Purpose bar soap and then moisturize, but that simple regimen clearly wasn’t cutting it anymore. My skin was getting really bad and made me look about 10 years older than I actually am. I mean, I didn’t need to start scrambling for the best wrinkle cream or anything, but I definitely looked a lot older.
Now, after about two months on a new skincare regimen that involved using toner twice daily after cleansing and exfoliating once a week, I’m happy to report that I’m seeing great improvement. My skin seems to be a lot more balanced now, and is neither too dry nor too oily. Plus, it’s a lot smoother because of how well the exfoliant is working. I’m also using a 2.5% benzoyl peroxide solution for acne, and that product is also doing its job.
In short, it’s been a very long time since my skin has looked or felt this good. I guess the extra money I’m spending on these products is worth it!
