Everyone knows that hotel bedspreads are the nastiest part of the whole room, right? Wrong!! Take a look at this video clip that I saw. It’s about how the drinking glasses in some hotel rooms never see a dishwasher, or come into contact with hot water or soap. It’s positively disgusting — and we’re talking about places like the Holiday Inn, Embassy Suites, and Sheraton, NOT those $40 motels off the interstate.
I’m already a germophobe as it is, so this video doesn’t help things one bit! I hate staying in hotels, and try not to touch anything in the room. I don’t set my stuff on the night tables, don’t fiddle with the television remote… I mean, those things never get cleaned, so you can just imagine what kind of microbes and bacteria are hanging out there.
I think I’m going to start traveling with my Lysol disinfectant wipes!!
