We have three computers (two desktops and a laptop) in our home network, and all three of them get used on a daily basis. Earlier today, I noticed that none of our computers were able to connect to the Internet properly. They would intermittently go online, and then the connection would be lost after 10 minutes or so.
At first, I thought this problem was coming from our ISP, so I called Comcast and had them check things on their end. They couldn’t detect any unusual activity, which meant the problem likely was originating in our equipment. I called my husband at work to describe what was happening. He thinks it could have something to do with the router, so he’s going to take a look at that after he comes home. Hopefully that’s all it is, because I know we can get a used cisco router for pretty cheap and can be back in business shortly.
As things stand now, I can’t do much until this connectivity issue gets fixed. It has taken me close to 30 minutes to write this post just because I can’t stay connected. How frustrating!!
