I worked in a corporate setting for five years right after I finished school. Looking back on that time now, I’d have to say that the best part about the whole experience was the day I quit for good. Seriously, I don’t miss a single thing about that job: not the 60-hour workweeks, not the office politics, not the constant gossip and backstabbing, and certainly not the utter exhaustion I felt at the end of each day. That wasn’t the life I wanted, so I’m glad I’m out of that whole scene.
Right now, I’m all about enjoying each and every day to the fullest — just like the folks over at MadGringo.com. MadGringo.com is a website that sells cool beachwear and casual clothing, such as hawaiian shirts, t-shirts, sarongs, and accessories. What I absolutely love about these products is the way they’re completely infused with Mad Gringo’s “Go Slow” philosophy. One look at designs like Daiquiri Daze 2007, Walkabout, or Foggy Notions is all it takes to understand the Go Slow concept, which reminds you to focus on the truly important things in life.
I currently have my eye on the Nautica sarong (pictured above). I could definitely see myself wearing this while strolling along the beach at sunset with a Mai Tai in hand. That scenario would certainly do justice to the whole Go Slow ideal, so what am I waiting for?
Go check out MadGringo.com now and embrace the Go Slow movement yourself!

I love sarongs, they are so comfy and useful! Skirt, shirt, curtains, tablecloth…whatever you want them to be!
