For the last seven years, I’ve been living in a subdivision where all the townhouses look exactly the same. Before moving to this townhouse, I lived in a different subdivision where the homes were one of three designs. This uniformity never bothered me before, but recently it’s been grating on my nerves a bit. I would love to live in a more rural setting someday, one where my house would be unique from all the others around it.
My husband and I often talk about what our dream home would look like, so I’ve totally got a certain image in my head already. We want a modern place that nevertheless has a rustic feel to it, which is why we think a custom timber frame house would be perfect.
In looking for a contractor that specializes in this type of construction, I came across the website for a company called Vermont Timber Works. They had a bunch of photographs on their site detailing all the residential and commercial work they’ve done, as well as the churches, chapels, and barns they’ve framed. I was truly amazed at how beautiful the finished products are — and how closely they match the dream home I have in mind! I only wish we lived out East so we could take advantage of Vermont Timber Works’ talent.
Anyway, if you’ve got a similar project in mind and want to work with a contractor known for unparalleled quality and commitment to customer satisfaction, I suggest checking out Vermont Timber Works today.
