I’m an active member of several message boards and discussion forums related to different topics that I’m interested in, such as blogging, sports, and entertainment. I spend a lot of time reading and posting on these boards every day, and have often thought it would be cool if I could actually get paid for doing so. Well, I’ve just heard of a way that this might be possible!

I read a blog post on RegisterSquare.co.uk about the increasing popularity of online revenue share programs that offer participants the chance to earn everything from iPods to video games to cold, hard cash.

Apparently, many new websites and discussion forums are offering revenue share in an effort to increase membership quickly. The specific rules and requirements for each program differ depending on the site you want to join, but in many cases it’s just a matter of signing up, submitting your AdSense publisher ID, posting in the forums, and waiting for the cash to roll in.

Revenue share sounds like it’s right up my alley, so I’m definitely going to get going with some of these sites!

I received a couple of PayPal payments today so I wanted to log into my account to check them out. While I was signed in, I noticed that the rate of return on the PayPal Money Market Fund has gone up to 5.06% (from 5.04%)! How cool is that!

I’m telling you, I can’t say enough good things about the way the PayPal MMF operates. It’s so easy and convenient that I recommend signing up for it if you have any kind of a balance in your PayPal account at all.

If you’re not earning at least 5.02-5.06 percent interest from your savings or checking accounts at your regular financial institution, then you’re basically just throwing money away!

My brother Rob is one of the smartest people I know, yet for one reason or another, he never finished college. This is something that has severely limited his opportunities career-wise, and has held him back from numerous promotions and high-paying jobs over the years. Rob knows that he should go back to school, but the thought of sitting in a classroom with 18-year-old kids really turns him off from the whole idea.

That’s why I think Rob is a perfect candidate for earning a college degree online instead of on campus. He wouldn’t have to quit his job, wouldn’t have to sit through boring lectures, and wouldn’t have to deal with frat boys who are more interested in finding the next party than in studying.

My mom and I are going to keep hounding him until he relents, so I have a feeling he’ll be signing up for at least one class before fall semester starts!
