I forgot to write a post about my latest PayPal dividend from the Money Market Fund. It was paid on June 30, which actually made for two dividend payments in the same month. As predicted, the amount was lower than what I had been seeing because I had to withdraw most of my balance in order to pay some substantial bills that were due. Still, I received $16.17, which is not too bad. This amount should go up next month, provided I don’t encounter any financial emergencies (knock on wood).

My last post about resolutions got me to thinking about other things that I need to start doing in my life. At the top of my list is making time to visit my grandfather more often. He’s nearly 90 years old already, so this is something that I won’t be able to put off much longer.
Fortunately, my grandfather is doing extremely well for someone his age and doesn’t need full-time care of anything like that. Sure, he has to use incontinence products at night, but otherwise he’s in great health and is able to live with my aunt and uncle without requiring them to have any special medical equipment on hand.
I think my grandfather is amazing, and I can only hope to be half as strong as he is when (or even if) I get to be his age!
