I’ve blogged a few times about how I want to put more effort into promoting my websites in order to build traffic and develop a following of loyal readers. One of the strategies I’ve really been looking into in the last few months is putting my website URLs on various promotional items such as pens and stickers that I could then hand out to friends, relatives, and prospective clients.
In my research, I came across a site called Gimmees.com. This site has, hands down, the largest selection of customizable promotional products that I have seen to date. I was seriously impressed by the variety of items to choose from. In addition to the usual pens, pencils, and mugs, Gimmees.com also offers such things as clocks, calculators, pocketknives, flashlights, hats, apparel, keychains — just too many products to list, really.
Of course everything can be imprinted with a logo or name, so these items are just perfect for businesses or individuals interested in promoting their brand.
And now, after seeing all these different types of products, I’m thinking that pens and stickers are way too boring. Time to start shopping again!
