Hey, something positive came out of this Chicago Blackhawks season. After finishing the regular season with a meager 71 points, the Hawks won the NHL draft lottery (even though they had just an 8.1 percent chance compared to Philly’s 25 percent chance) and will pick first in the next entry draft. According to the Yahoo sports article that I read, the Blackhawks have never owned the No.1 pick and have only picked as high as No.3 before.
I stopped following hockey a long time ago, but if the Hawks get a great up-and-coming prospect (I’m talking along the lines of Sidney Crosby or Alex Ovechkin here), I might start tuning in again. Please please please don’t trade the pick away!

Wooooo-Hooooo! Go Hawks! Sorry–that was for my husband! As for me-I’m a Coyote fan, but living in Chicago–I do have to show my support for the locals–or risk losing life and limb!!
