I was tagged by skeet over at Skeet’s Stuff to do this meme about Obsessions. It sounded fun, so I agreed to give it a whirl. Here are five things that I obsess about:
1. Germs. I’m not exactly at Howard Hughes levels yet, but I’m getting there. I wash my hands at least 20 times per day and carry hand sanitizer around with me wherever I go. I mean, rationally speaking, I know that I’ll never get rid of all the germs around me and that it’s not even a good idea to do so (resistance to illness and all that), but I still go through the motions. Can you say OCD? Uh huh.
2. My PayPal balance. Ever since I started blogging for profit back in November, I have become obsessed with building up my PayPal balance. This is especially true now that I’ve joined the PayPal Money Market Fund and am earning 5.02% on my balance. At the end of each month, I get a nice dividend just for leaving my money in there. Pretty cool!
3. The Internet. Okay, I admit it. I am completely obsessed with the Internet. The first thing I do when I wake up in the morning is turn my computer on to check my emails, the news, my blogs, etc. When I return home after being out for a couple of hours, I go right to the computer check everything out. Even when I’m sitting on the couch watching TV, I have to take a break every half hour or so to sneak into my office for a few minutes on the Internet. Pretty dumb, I know. This is something that I definitely want to change.
4. Movies. I love watching movies and usually try to get one in every single day (good thing I have my Reviews and More blog so I can write off the expenses at the end of the year
). I only go to the theater about once a month, but I rent stuff all the time and I even watch movies on cable. Any genre, any actor, any director… not picky about those things at all. I just want to be entertained!
Hmm, I can only think of four obsessions here, so this’ll have to suffice. It looks like everyone else I know online has already been tagged (and those that haven’t had made it clear that they hate this type of thing), so I’m not going to pass this along!

Passing on is absolutely not mandatory. You already know how I handle memes. If tey become a pain in the backside it’s time to give them up, lol1
I handled pesticides on a daily basis for over two decades, and was also a dog-handler for much of that time. I am incapable of moving from one task to another without stopping to wash my hands, even though I no longer have those exposures, lol.
I didn’t know about the PayPal money market fund. Gotta check that out. I’ve been leaving most of my earnings in there, so they might as well go to work for me. Mahalo for the tip!
An, eh! Tanks foa playin!
