There’s been a lot of talk at PayPerPost about blog categories, and that has got me thinking about this particular blog and what the focus of it should be. This was the first blog I ever started, and at the beginning I just wrote about anything that came up. But then I started a reviews blog where I’ve been posting movie reviews, television show recaps, book reviews, and product reviews, so that took a significant amount of content away from The Fire Pit.

I also started a third blog that tends to focus on things that are happening in my life: the regular day-to-day occurrences as well as projects, vacations, etc.

So now I’m thinking that I’ll post about current events, sports, and celebrity gossip/entertainment news. These three topics aren’t exactly related, but they’re all things that I’m interested in and since I don’t want to start three separate blogs, I’ll just combine them here.

It’s actually kind of a relief to settle on a few subjects…. I can’t wait to get started with this new focus!
